Eyewear is measured in three numbers, printed on the inside of the temple — for example 48-23-145.
- 48 mm
- Lens width. The smaller the number, the narrower the frame sits on the face.
- 23 mm
- Bridge, the gap between the lenses. A wider bridge suits a wider or higher nose.
- 145 mm
- Temple length, from the hinge to the tip behind the ear.
The simplest way to choose: take a pair you already wear comfortably, read the three numbers inside the temple, and compare them with the ones in the description above. Within 2 mm on each, the fit will feel the same.
